About
Our Vision
Passion For The Arts’ vision is to teach children the importance of ministry and to see the gospel shared with the community through purposeful productions. |
Our Mission
Passion For The Arts’ mission is to inspire and disciple students to grow in the faith, love, knowledge and character of Jesus Christ. Children will develop their skills and opportunities, while using the gifts and abilities God has given them through the vehicle of Theatrical Arts. |
Our Productions
Passion For The Arts’ productions are purposely chosen for their moral content and family friendly theme. We strive for the highest quality production with each performance so everyone in the audience can enjoy the show. |
Passion for the Arts provides educational value to private and homeschool families through performing arts classes and workshops throughout the year, culminating in our typical schedule of an annual spring theatrical production. Passion for the Arts works under the umbrella of a non-profit organization as filed with the State of California and the Federal Government. Passion for the Arts has adopted by-laws that share many of the principles defined in the published “Visual and Performing Arts Content Standards for California Public Schools” as available here.
We use live music for performances, original artwork for programs, tickets, and flyers, and allow students to give of their own best – to each shine in their own way – in each show.
Passion for the Arts encourages the whole family to get involved in drama.
We strive to inspire each student to feel confident on stage, no matter their age or ability. We value excellence over perfection, and every character has a hand in telling the story and is considered vital to the production.
All of our productions are produced with parent help. Parents contribute on every aspect of a show, from costume design to concessions. Our past productions include Peter Pan, Cinderella, Robin Hood the Musical, Around the World in 80 Days, The Prince and the Pauper, Sherlock Holmes, and The Masque of Beauty and the Beast. Enjoy the pictures throughout our site from these past shows, and follow us on Facebook and Instagram for more!
